Can I generate videos in 4k?

Video outputs from any model can now be upscaled by clicking on Actions > Upscale to 4k within a Generative Session after the generation is completed. Initial Gen-3 Alpha and Gen-3 Alpha Turbo video outputs are generated in 720p and Gen-2 video outputs can be generated in either SD or HD. Video editor projects and certain AI Magic Tools for video editing that use imported 4k footage offer 4k exports for any user on a Standard plan or higher. Why is my input getting content moderated?

Runway’s content moderation system automatically scans your inputs and the resulting outputs for anything that is not allowed under our Usage Policy. We are unable to allowlist specific accounts or subject matters that are being content moderated, regardless of the intent of your input or final project. Content moderation cannot be disabled for an account, project, or topic by the support team.

Why does Explore Mode sometimes move faster or slower?

Explore Mode is a feature of the Unlimited Plan that allows you to generate an infinite number of videos and images without spending credits on any of them. The way Explore works is outlined on all pricing and upgrade pages, both in-app and on our website: “In Explore Mode, generations may take longer and the number you can run at the same time may be limited, based on overall site traffic.” Runway balances the use of Explore Mode so that it is always available in some capacity to every Unlimited Plan subscriber. In order to make sure every single Unlimited Plan user has equal access to high-quality generations from our models, sometimes generations may take longer, and the number of simultaneous generations may be temporarily limited.
